Learning How to Meditate: 3 Reasons Why Beginning Meditators Have So Much Difficulty

In recent years, there has been a tremendous upsurge in the number of people learning how to meditate. The main reason is that scientists are confirming the benefits that practitioners have been touting for years, and much more. But for the beginner, it is often difficult figuring out where to start. In this article, we'll examine the reasons for the confusion, and give you a good starting point, so you too can realize true happiness and inner peace.
Have you ever wondered if you're meditating properly? Most of us have. Which of the following statements best describes your experience with meditation?
  • "I have trouble sitting still. My mind is racing too fast to sit quietly."
  • "I meditate, but not much seems to happen. Sometimes, I just fall asleep."
  • "Everyone I've asked about how to meditate gives me a different answer."
  • "I've read several books on meditation, but I'm still not sure where to start."
  • "I've tried different ways of meditating, but my progress still seems slow."
If you answered "Yes" to any of these statements, then you're not alone. These are some of the difficulties that most of us, including myself, have experienced when learning how to meditate.
Up until the mid 1990s, relatively few people engaged in the practice. One of the main reasons Westerners have been slow to adopt meditation is because there has been so much confusion about the practice. If you ask 10 different people how to meditate, you'll probably get 10 different answers, and they may not necessarily be wrong. This makes it very difficult for a beginner.
There are 3 main reasons for all the confusion:
  1. There are many different forms of meditation. With so many different forms, it's hard to tell which ones really work. Since they vary in their approach, so does their effectiveness.
  2. Not many people fully understand meditation. It's hard to find someone who truly understands how to meditate and can explain it clearly.
  3. Most books on meditation are confusing. They usually overwhelm you with so much information that you end up more confused than before. Many of them also use a lot of cryptic language that makes it even more confusing.
When you combine these 3 factors, it is no wonder that beginners have such a hard time learning how to meditate. What usually happens is that beginners, and many experienced practitioners, try practicing several different forms without clear goals or objectives. The result is little or no progress in their spiritual development. With this approach, they're missing out on the true benefits of meditation.
TIP: Chose a well-established form of meditation, and stick with it.
Trying a different form of meditation each week is like trying to learn how to play a different instrument every week. You're never going to learn how to play music that way. It's the same with learning how to meditate.
If you are new to meditation, I suggest you choose one specific form of meditation, and learn it well, then you'll gain a good understanding of what meditation is all about. Later, if you decide that form doesn't suit you, then you'll have a basis for evaluating other forms. This clearly makes more sense than to keep jumping around from one form to another without any direction.
Meditation is an extremely powerful tool for spiritual development. Once you understand the proper techniques, you should expect to see noticeable progress from week to week. If you've seen your progress diminish, it may be because you're trying too many different forms. If you stick with one particular form, you'll likely save yourself a great deal of time and effort.
If there is any drawback for the beginner just learning how to meditate, it's that the rising popularity of meditation is creating a shortage of teachers who fully understand the practice, and can teach it in a clear and simple manner. The good news is that there are a few such teachers out there who are developing tools to help beginners get off to a good start.

Pregnant And Allergies - Definitely No Fun

While having to deal with allergies for anyone is uncomfortable, having allergies while being pregnant can make you feel truly miserable. While many medications have been used with no harm to the baby, no medication should be considered completely safe from side effects and opting out while during the pregnancy is completely understandable. But having difficulty breathing and not getting a lot of sleep because of allergies, while not good for the mother isn't good for the baby either. So, how can a mom keep her baby safe while controlling the misery of allergies?
Any mom looking for options in managing allergies during pregnancy will be happy to discover there are plenty of choices in both avoidance and control.
Avoidance of Allergens - Whenever it's possible, avoiding to take medicines during pregnancy is preferred. In allergy maintenance, this is best done by avoiding triggers as much as possible. Take steps like these to help reduce your allergic reactions:
• Using barriers like dust mite covers on pillows, mattresses, and covers protect from one of the most common household allergens.
• Air purifiers using HEPA filters help manage indoor allergens.
• Water filters are effective in reducing the effects of chlorine, another very common allergen.
• Having HEPA or water based filters on the out ports of vacuum and steam cleaners are a good way to reduce the dust disturbance and removing it in a room during cleaning activities.
• Consult air quality reports before planning outdoor activities. Limit outdoor exposure during times when your triggers are at their highest.
Control of Allergies During Pregnancy - Unfortunately, it's virtually impossible to avoid all allergens so finding ways to manage the effects is a necessary alternative. Here are some great options in finding allergy relief:
• Check with your doctor to see what medications are safe to take while pregnant.
• Consider dietary changes. Eating vegetables high in vitamins C and E help the body fight the damage caused by free-radicals, Omega-3 helps reduce inflammation, and reducing your intake of dairy can reduce mucus.
• To increase blood flow and to thin mucus, eat more spicy foods.
• Eating raw local honey introduces your body to the area's pollen and may lessen the impact of airborne pollen.
• Natural remedies such as Stinging Nettles, Goldenseal Root, and White Pine treat different symptoms effectively.
Being pregnant and having allergies doesn't have to mean you'll have to be totally miserable this allergy season. Following a few simple tips in avoidance and managing symptoms effectively will make sure that there is nothing left to do but enjoy the pregnancy.

Do Cell Phones Really Cause Brain Cancer?

The cell phone today is more ubiquitous than ever, and scientific studies continue to try to distinguish the relationship between cellular phones and cancer.
A recent study from the National Institutes of Health showed increased brain activity in participants exposed to cell phone radiation. The study used PET scans to measure the brain's sugar level, and found increased activity in regions closest to the phone's antenna after 50 minutes of exposure. Although the increased activity isn't directly linked to harmful effects, the human brain's evident sensitivity to the phone's electromagnetic waves does raise further questions.
In May 2011, the World Health Organization reclassified cell phone radiation exposure as "possibly carcinogenic," a label that places it in the same category as chloroform and lead. The most extensive case control study of cellular phones and cancer, the Interphone study, conducted across 13 countries for a decade found that the highest grade of mobile phone users-those who used their phones for 30 minutes a day over 10 years or more- were twice as likely to develop glioma, a malignant brain tumor. These results are alarming, particularly because the study failed to take into account that children and young adults are far more susceptible to cell phone radiation than adults.
Cellular phone radiation testing conducted by manufacturers also underestimates the amount of radiation that users are exposed to. A recent paper published in the journal Electromagnetic Biology and Medicine revealed that industry testing is done on a mannequin modeled after a 6'2", 200 pound man with the phone held one inch from the mannequin's ear. The study estimates that 97 percent of the population deviate from this unrealistic model of usage and experience greater exposure.
The Federal Communications Commission requires a mobile phone to have a Specific Absorption Rate (SAR), a measure of the peak of electromagnetic radiation level in a model, of less than 1.6 watts per kilogram. However, the peak SAR may not represent the actual SAR levels of a typical phone call. A cellular phone with a lower SAR may expose the user to more radiation on average than one with a higher SAR. A study conducted by a bioengineering research professor, Dr. Henry Lai, found effects of memory loss in rats exposed to SAR levels as low 0.0006 to 0.06 watts per kilogram.
As of 2010, there are over 223 million mobile phone users in the US over the age of 13 and the numbers are constantly growing. According to the CTIA, the Wireless Association, the total minutes of cell phone use in America in 2009 was 2.3 trillion minutes. Cellular phone users are also starting at younger ages. Given the indispensable role of cell phones in our lives and the increasing concern about an association between cell phone use and cancer, regulatory agencies should carry out more thorough investigations, and cell phone users should exercise caution and take steps to lower their exposure to cell phone radiation.

Childless Couple Can Be the New Age Parents: Thanks to Infertility Specialists

Many couples living in this fast paced life seem to have everything in life - money, great lifestyle, success, busy jobs, exciting friend circle. Many years pass by after their marriage and having a child is the last thing in their head, but then at one moment the vacuum sets in. Be it age or any pre-existing medical conditions in either of the partner, infertility can occur due to various reasons. The new age couples are not the ones who will just leave it all out of frustration of no result, rather the number of people visiting infertility specialists is increasing considerably. And why not? When there is a will, there is a way, and with advanced scientific and medical innovations it is now possible to lose the tag of childless couple and beckon the journey of proud parenting. There is nothing to be scared or embarrassed as you are not the only one facing this problem. Here are a few important things that you should know before you visiting an infertility specialist to make this process easier.
Why Should I see an Infertility specialist?
It is a common notion that for any infertility or pregnancy related issues, people tend to rush to a gynecologist or an obstetric. Though they may prescribe medication for this condition, an infertility specialist completely focus on the aspect of infertility. They specialize in the facets of assessment, diagnosis and treating various types if infertility. Hence, they administer and treat infertility issues the best. They are also known as reproductive endocrinology.
When should I see this doctor?
In the following situations you may want to visit an infertility specialist:
  • If you are more than 30 years old and are trying to conceive for the past 6 months
  • You are finding it difficult to be pregnant after trying more than a year and not getting any fruitful result
  • Had any past miscarriage case after a certain period of pregnancy
How should I prepare for the visit?
Make a note of questions lurking in your mind and try to communicate your issues with your doctor. Clear your doubts about the process and try to take mental notes of the instructions given by the doc. Also, if you are experiencing any particular symptoms share it with your doctor. Make a note of the date of your periods and duration. Don't forget to take the result of medical tests (any, if done earlier) of both you and your partner's. Keeping such records and related medical records helps your infertility specialist to learn more about your past records and giving more accurate evaluations and medications. It is advisable that both the partners go on the scheduled appointment.
What to expect during this visit?
The specialist will question about your and your partner's medical history to run a check on any past medical complication, illness or procedure that might affect your fertility. She can ask you about certain details as when did you get your first periods, and if your menstruation cycle is regular or not. Be true about your reproductive history and your trying duration. Also, the doctor might ask you how you conduct the pregnancy tests and he/she may also examine any abnormalities in your reproductive organs through pelvic exam.
What to Anticipate Next?
The doctor will run a series of tests to get more information on your body status. Common tests like blood and semen test will be conducted to determine any abnormality of sperm shape or count. The doctor may conduct a Hysterosalpingography (HSG) to check for any blockage in fallopian tubes. After a battery of tests and results the doctor will chalk out a plan and prescribe medication.
Infertility Specialists perform processes as Artificial Insemination and In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) which acts as a boon for childless couples. Five Acne Treatment Tips For Sensitive Pores

Acne can happen at any time and age and when you are one of those with sensitive pores and skin, then you definitely tend to be more vulnerable to acne than other people. It results in scars that you might have to endure for a lifetime. But just a little care can be quite a help to keep the skin free of acne and you can have the glowing and clear skin that so many of us crave for. Still all is not lost if you do keep suffering from acne breakout incidents. The following acne treatments and prevention tips would help you maintain your complexion well enough.
1. Ensure that you keep the face absolutely clean. Now this does not mean that you keep scrubbing your face with harsh soap cleansers. The idea is to use cleansers that do the job effectively without robbing your face of its oils. Such cleansers do not clog the skin pores and enable bacteria to accumulate within them. You need to gently clean your face with the cleanser about three times a day with plain water and using a circular motion to spread the cleanser evenly and smoothly. Use an ultra soft cloth to dry up, and to clean up the pimples or blackheads and use a new one daily.
2. Get into the habit of exfoliating at least once a week so that all dirt and grime that has accumulated during the week and has missed your daily cleansing regime are effectively and smoothly taken care of. This way you are not carrying any excess baggage into the next week and you will notice that your face actually starts glowing from these efforts. Make sure though that the exfoliate is a herbal or organic one and free of harsh chemicals. This is a time tested acne treatment and prevention tip.
3. Make use of the right skin medications. There are a variety of high quality topical creams readily available for sensitive pores and skin. Use lotions which contain Retin-A. This agent has been found to be very effective to get rid of fine lines and slow down the ageing effects that start showing on the face through wrinkles. But use these creams with care and follow instructions. Stop using them on any signs of irritation or excessive dryness.
4. Moisturiser is important not just for dry pores and skin also for oily skin. Choose a moisturiser that suits your skin type. There are moisturisers that have been made for sensitive skin and if you do not possess a sensitive skin, keep away from it. Moisturisers help conserve the oil balance associated with skin and reduce the chances of acne breaking out.
5. Many of us tend to avoid sun block creams because of the impression that they are unnecessary and have no role to play during normal weather conditions. But the truth is that a good sun block cream acts as a protective layer on your facial skin and prevents the accumulation of grime on its pores.
The above acne treatments tips will definitely help you keep your face smooth and clean. This will reduce the possibilities of any acne breakout happening.
Jan Marini also have a very effective serum called Bioclear which effectively clears acne blemishes and helps to prevent future pimples.

Using Acupuncture For Migraine

Migraine sufferers will do anything to be free of the pulsing, throbbing pain of these debilitating headaches. Three times as common in women than men, sufferers can often tell when they're about to get a migraine because of warning symptoms just before the headache starts. A new study finds that using acupuncture for migraine helps reduce the number of days patients suffer, and might have longer effects on the body.
In the research, just about 500 participants were treated using either a sham treatment meant to mimic real acupuncture, or authentic traditional Chinese acupuncture. The subjects didn't know which treatment they were getting during the study that lasted four weeks.
At the end of the trial, all participants reported less days with migraines compared to before the research started. They went from an average of six days with migraines to three days, on average, of migraines per month.
In the month after the treatment, all participants also reported that their headaches were less intense and less frequent than they had been.
However, truly lasting effects were only seen in those participants who had received the traditional acupuncture, not the sham treatment. Three months later, these individuals were still reporting a reduction in the number of days with migraine, as well as improvements in intensity and frequency. Those who got the sham treatment reported none of these things.
And though the current study only found a small benefit to real acupuncture compared with a sham procedure, researchers say that an earlier study has found that those who have the best response to acupuncture are those sufferers who have tried other treatments that haven't worked, and those who've had previous positive experiences with the treatment.
Acupuncture is one of the world's oldest healing practices, seeking to restore and maintain health by stimulating specific points on the body to maintain a balance of body energies. Today acupuncture is widely practiced in the U.S. with an estimated 3.1 million U.S. adults (150,000 children) using the alternative treatment in the past year.
The U.S. FDA regulates acupuncture needles, requiring that they be manufactured and labeled according to specific standards. They must be sterile, nontoxic and used one time by qualified practitioners only.
Another study of 300 patients found that acupuncture brings more benefits compared to no acupuncture in treating migraine. Another study on migraine and acupuncture involved 800 subjects and found that 11 treatments over 6 weeks as effective as drugs (beta blockers) used to prevent migraine.
Acupuncture could well be an alternative for treatment of migraine that can work with other non-drug therapies to reduce the painful headaches. Experts from the National Headache Foundation believe that a patient needs to try both preventive and rescue medications before giving acupuncture a try.
Most experts believe that results from using acupuncture for migraine treatment will be very individualized. If you have headaches that you think might be migraines, talk with your doctor, a careful exam and discussion of your symptoms and family history, along with an MRI or CT scan to rule out other conditions will give you a good idea. There is no definitive test for migraine, and no specific cure.
The goal is to keep migraines from happening by staying away from your own triggers. Keeping a headache diary can help you identify symptoms that appear before your headache... so you can see if patterns exist. It's also best to treat migraine symptoms right away... before the pain gets ahead of you.

Eye Strain

You've had a long day at the office, you are at your desk in front of your computer. You're exhausted, tired, aching all over, you have a headache and your eyes feel like they are dry and on fire. Focusing on your monitor is getting difficult. You may feel that you are just overworked, but it may actually be the result of eye strain.
Most people think eye safety at work involves protecting your eyes with those big thick plastic goggles with the tight elastic that stop flying metal fragments or acids from causing major eye injury.
However, common eye injury can occur to the average office worker who uses a computer regularly.
Symptoms of eye strain can include:
  • dry eyes
  • blurred vision
  • itchy eyes
  • watery eyes
  • tired eyes
  • burning eyes (even when closed)
  • headaches
  • fatigue
  • muscle tension
  • double vision
  • Nausea
  • reading problems
  • lack of concentration
If you start to experience any of the above symptoms, one solution is to take "eye breaks".
While focussing on your task, you will blink less and forget to rest. Every 20 minutes or so, have a break and look away from the monitor for at least 20 seconds. Blink a few times to lubricate and then gaze out in the distance without focussing on anything. By doing this throughout the day, you will feel more refreshed and focused.
Computer monitors should be adjusted so that they are at or just below eye level, if your monitor is fixed your seating position may have to be adjusted to compensate. Having an incorrectly adjusted monitor will not only aid eye strain, it will also strain your neck. Adjust the brightness of your screen and text size to avoid having to squint at the screen.
Employees are not the only ones who should be mindful of eye strain, research has shown that eye strain results in decreased proficiency and diminished accuracy due to fatigue.
The reduction of glare is another thing that businesses can do to reduce the strain on employees eyes. Harsh light results in employees straining their eyes while trying to perform their duties. Having exterior windows tinted will significantly reduce the glare. Numerous commercial window tinting companies specialise in applying tint to commercial buildings.
Another way employers can reduce eye strain is to ensure that all electrical lighting is neither too bright nor too dimm.
By following a few simple steps, workers and their employers can maintain productivity and workplace safety.

Do You Make These Three Push-Up Mistakes?

Push-ups are one of the best overall drills for the human frame: upper body strength-endurance, core endurance, spinal stability all in one drill.
And the push-up looks simple.
Just get down, hands on the ground, straighten your body and away you go. Right?
Not quite.
Done improperly, you increase risk of injury to the shoulder, neck, and low back, and get less value out of the drill.
The Top Three Push-Up Mistakes
Hand Position- Hands high and wide = mistake
A lot of people place their hands high and wide forming a "T".
This reduces the workload on the triceps and pectoralis muscles but uses the passive restraint tissues (joint capsule, ligaments) of the shoulder to create stability instead of the muscle system.
The upper arm (humerus) is actually in what's referred to as an "impingement" position. The very small amount of space that provides clearance in the shoulder for the rotator cuff tendons is reduced by the angle of the humerus. So, it feels easier to do a push up in this position but the risk to your shoulder is greater.
Depth- Arms past the mid-line of the trunk = mistake
A lot of trainers and coaches will tell you that the best push-up is one where the chest hits the ground.
Not true.
When the chest hits the ground, your upper arm (humerus) is positioned behind the trunk or in an extended position. This places a lot of load on the front of the shoulder and is often a cause of anterior shoulder pain. The argument for taking your chest to the floor is to stress all of the muscle fibers so you get maximal muscle contraction and development. I understand that but what you're doing is sacrificing safety for vanity.
You'll get plenty of muscle work by stopping the motion when the arm is lined up with the middle of the trunk (so the upper arm will be parallel to the ground). And you lower the risk of injury substantially.
The other problem with taking the chest to the floor is that the arm is fixed. It can't rotate in and out like it does when you throw a punch. So again, as the arm moves past the trunk, the shoulder will move into more of an impingement position (this is much more the case when the hands are flat on the floor than in the image with the hands on handles but I still would stop the motion at the trunk midline).
Going too low isn't the only issue with depth. It's pretty easy to crank out a hundred push-ups if you move about three inches. Yes, lower risk of injury but you're kidding yourself into thinking you're stronger than you really are.
Sagging- The spine and head sagging out of alignment = mistake
When you're not strong enough to manage the push-up, your spine and/or head will sag toward the ground. This increases stress in the spine and even into the shoulders. So, if you find yourself drooping, it means the drill is too hard.
And guys seem to have an enormous amount of trouble feeling okay about doing push-ups on their knees. I've heard things like, "I'm not doing girlie push-ups!" Please. Get over yourself. It's a push-up with less load. That's it. If it makes you feel better, strap a performance band around your chest, anchor it high in the door and let the band help you by reducing the load. Same thing. Easier on your ego though.
Avoid making these three common mistakes for the push-up and reduce your risk of injury while getting the most out of a great drill.
My core health philosophy is simple: life is movement. When you can't move freely or in a way you need or want to, suddenly your life seems a lot smaller. So, I promote movement through the fundamentals first: know your abilities and weaknesses, work on the weakness, build your stability, balance and endurance, then your strength, then power, then stamina.
If you've tried just about everything under the sun to get healthy & fit or are fed up with programs that leave you feeling worn out, frustrated with lousy results or worse, injured, then I'm your guy - Fusion can help you.
Why? I make complex, sometimes even contradictory, health & fitness concepts dead simple to understand and use.

Number One Exercise for Fat Loss

Granted there are many great fat burning exercises, but in my personal opinion since the exercise I will be discussing today combines multiple movements, muscle groups, and joint movements into one full body exercise, it is far superior to any other. This exercise will get your heart pumping and have you breathing like a freight train by the time your done.
Remember when doing any type of exercise to burn fat, it's all about the intensity of the workout not how long. For instance, did you know that performing exercises such as HIIT (high intensity interval training) can burn 900% more body fat than traditional cardio/aerobics.
Another advantage of doing high intensity exercises is that it cuts down on exercise time drastically. A 10-12 minute exercise incorporating HIIT burns just as much if not more than an hour of running. This is very beneficial for those that live a hectic lifestyle.
Next time you exercise try incorporating some form of interval training with weight or just plain sprinting using HIIT.
Enough talking, let's get down to business.
Instructions for Man Makers:
First, grab two dumbbells that you can manage effectively. You may need to go up or down in weight after your first set depending on the ease of the routine. My favorite and most versatile weights for exercise are PowerBlock Dumbbells (now available in kettlebells as well). This one unique set of dumbbells replaces as many as 34 different dumbbells which saves room and money.
Get in push-up position while grasping the dumbbells in each hand. Perform a push-up then row one dumbbell towards your midsection while balancing yourself on the other dumbbell, then lower back to the ground. Then do another push-up and repeat a row with the other dumbbell.
While still grasping the dumbbells jump your feet up towards the dumbbells (at this point you should be in a squatting position, feet outside your hands while still grasping the dumbbells).
Next, swing the weights up to should height, go down into a squat (upper legs should be parallel or slightly lower to the floor) and then stand up and shoulder press the dumbbells to full extension over head.
Return to push-up position. This is 1 rep. You should try to complete 10 reps.
Man Maker Steps:
#1 Push-up position (while grasping dumbbells)
#2 Push-up
#3 Row one dumbbell towards midsection and return to floor
#4 Push-up
#5 Repeat step #3 with the other hand
#6 Jump feet toward hands while still grasping dumbbells (you should be in a squat position at this point)
#7 Swing dumbbells to shoulder height
#8 Squat down at least parallel to floor
#9 Stand up
#10 Press dumbbells to full extension over head
This completes one repetition. Complete 10 reps for one set. Please note* Be careful not to do this exercise too fast as this can cause you to use bad form causing injury to the back or bodily injury.
Good Luck and remember to keep progressing forward. If you can't complete the full 10 reps, try decreasing the weight. If 10 reps is too easy, increase the weight.
If you prefer to work out at home, I highly recommend the Powerblock dumbbells. You can take a closer look at these revolutionary dumbbells in my FREE REPORT at my site listed below.

How to Find a Good Hypnotherapist

In most countries, there arent any official rules about hypnosis. Since it is a science which is still surrounded with a halo of mysticism because of the movies and of the shows, many are unsure about which therapist to choose. Best is, of course, if someone you trust, a friend or a family member, has tried this therapist and recommends him to you. But if not, there are some things, you can do.
In most European countries, there is no special law about hypnosis. In the USA, there are different laws depending on the state, but there is little or no direct regulation over the practice of hypnosis, although, of course, other laws generally affecting the operation of any business will usually apply (truth in advertising, unfair business practices, etc.). Few states require mandatory licensure or registration, for example, Colorado, Connecticut or Washington. Some other do not have mandatory registration, but have specific regulations for the practice of hypnotism and certain rules and guidelines for licensure exemption. That would be states like California, Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, Texas, Utah…
So in short, you will have to check out what registration the therapist you are going to use has and see if he has a valid license. Second, and this is very important, find out if the therapist is a member of one or more professional organizations and in this case, which one and what are the conditions to be a member of this organization. Who taught him hypnosis? Where did he study?
Dont be afraid to ask these questions in your first session. Best is, if you have prepared your questions in advance. Write them down to be sure you dont forget any. Every understanding therapist (that should be a pleonasm, but it is, unfortunately not) will know that you are unsure, especially if you never have tried it before and will disclose anything you want. There are no secrets to hypnosis. No question is too stupid to be ask. As we say in France: There are no stupid questions, there are only stupid answers.
If you are insecure about going to the therapist alone the first time, dont hesitate to bring a friend with you. It is perfectly understandable that you are hesitant and a friend can see or ask some questions you may not think of. As a therapist, the only thing I have to say to that is I like to know it beforehand. But that is merely politeness. If I am waiting for one patient and see two persons arrive, it is no big deal, but I prefer to be warned.
Apart from that, there is no reason why a therapist would deny you to come with someone. If he does, be on your guards. There is no reason to refuse a third person in session for the first contact where you certainly may have many things to ask. In the following sessions, of course, the therapist may ask your friend to leave the room under treatment.
Dont be scared to ask the therapist how the session will be and what will happen. One of my patients told me, one of the hypnotherapist she went to before me, asked her to lay down and then started a CD with a hypnosis session on while he was playing cards on his computer. This kind of treatment may not be suitable for you. So ask the therapist how the session will be, what he will do and not do.
Hypnosis is not magic. It is a therapy and the contact and the trust you have in your therapist is the most important. If you, at first contact, feel that something is wrong that you dont like the person or that the contact between you two isnt good, find another therapist. This doesnt mean that this therapist is bad, just that you may not be one for another. He can be very good for someone else. You have to rely on him, to be able to relax in his company, and you wont be able to do that, if there is any form of antipathy (whether it is justified or not).
Trust is a must!

Increase Semen Volume With These Tips

If you are looking for ways that you can increase semen volume, there are a number of different things that you can try. You may be surprised about how much of an effect you can have on the volume of your ejaculations. Luckily, there is nothing unsafe about the different methods that will allow you to get results. Youll simply be using a combination of different natural methods including male enhancement supplements to get more explosive orgasms.
Increasing semen volume may be something that you have thought about before. Actually, many men are interested in producing more semen. You may have seen guys in the movies that seem to ejaculate almost inhuman amounts. What youre seeing is not faked, but there are some tricks of the trade that you can use to finish the same way.
One of the first things that you can do is something that you ought to be doing anyway. Its important to get plenty of water and this will help with semen production. It is more the case to say that you will reduce the amount of ejaculate that you produce if you dont have the right amount of water available. Therefore, this is just about the easiest and least expensive way to increase semen volume.
You should also be getting enough sleep. This is the time of the day when your body is able to replenish itself. Just like it does for your brain, the rest of the organs in your body are preparing and building back up as you sleep. All the while, you will also be producing more semen and improving the health of your sexual organs.
You may read about different foods that will help you to increase semen volume. There are few things that work, but it can get extremely expensive to try and go about the situation this way. In most cases, you would need to eat these foods in such incredible quantities that it simply wouldnt be possible. You would probably end up being starved of nutrients because you have to need so much of a certain food.
Luckily, there is an answer to the nutrient problem. This comes in the form of male enhancement supplements that are particularly formulated to increase semen volume. There are a number of things that they do to help the situation.
First of all, many of the better natural substances will help to increase the amount of testosterone in your body. This has a significant effect on male sexual performance and will also increase the amount of semen that your body produces.
One of the most incredible things that a male supplement can do is to improve your circulation. Obviously, that is something that would also be beneficial to your overall health but it has a lot to do with male sexual functioning. As you know, many of the drugs that are used for erection issues will specifically improve blood flow to the penis. Natural substances are available that do this and they will also improve your semen volume.

Ideal Skin Care Regimen That Can Reduce Age Spots

Updating your skin care regimen should be done regularly. As you get older, your skin becomes weaker. That being said, it will require all the help that it can get.
Age spots can appear without preamble. These are tiny spots that appear on the surface layers of the skin. If you want to reduce age spots and promote a healthier skin structure, you should try using the following skin care regimen:
1. Scrub your skin twice a week.
Many people tend to skip this step simply because it is a little time-consuming. But scrubbing your skin can be done while you are taking a bath. In fact, it is better done while taking a bath. Dampen your skin first and then apply the scrub.
You can make a simple scrub. Just mix oatmeal, yogurt and lemon. Oatmeal can help slough off dead skin cells while yogurt and lemon can moisturize your skin and can lighten up the dark areas of your dermis.
2. Use a skin-whitening mask.
Age spots are caused by the excessive production of melanin. You should use a skin-whitening mask to control the production of melanin. Try using the natural remedies cucumber, papaya and avocado. Blend these ingredients well.
Apply the mask all over your skin. Massage it gently on the areas affected. Let it sit there for an hour before washing it off.
3. Treat the spots.
Use pearl powder as a spot treatment. Mix this with your favourite aromatic oil such as rose oil or lavender oil. Apply the mixture on the tiny spots. Leave it there overnight or wash it off after an hour.
4. Use a whitening moisturizer.
I suggest investing on a moisturizer with the ability to control melanin production and improve the youthful functions of the skin. Look for the ingredients Extrapone Nutgrass, Phytessence Wakame and Maracuja.
Extrapone Nutgrass is a plant with root extracts that can inhibit melanin by up to 45% during the first two weeks of use. Continuously use this treatment and the spots will completely fade away.
Phytessence Wakame is a type of sea kelp that can hamper the rapid loss of hyaluronic acid caused by enzymes. This acid is vital for the lubrication of collagen fibers.
Maracuja is a Brazilian passion fruit with emollient properties that can keep the skin hydrated. It can actually duplicate the moisture-retaining functions of the skin. If the skin is properly hydrated, it does not get damaged easily.

Experience and Enjoy the Health Benefits of Quinoa

Whatever season it is, of course we always want to be looking good, sexy and fab, and because as Virgil says, “The greatest health is wealth”, we are always on the lookout for healthy diets and exercises. Weve heard many fads about weight loss, weve learned the ins and outs of these fads and have to come know they dont suit everyone and not everything is simply easy to follow.
Well, well, look what I got here, a surprise food that just might be the answer to your diet needs – whether weight loss, or plain healthy living. No, its not plain oatmeal with fiber; its not even salmon or any omega-rich seafood; nor the very healthy malunggay; neither the energy rich banana – its some combination of almost all the healthy foods you know. The health benefits of Quinoa will really surprise you.
Quinoa, pronounced as “keen-WAH”, is the superfood I am telling you of. It is a quasi-grain rich with almost all the essential nutrients your body needs. It has long been the complete food of the Inca tribe, residing in the Andes Mountains of South America. When I say complete food, you dont need to do a double-take. Youre seeing it right, and thats a fact. Quinoa grains are a source of complete nutrition – its a go, grow and glow food. I know… the health benefits of Quinoa are really awesome.
This superfood is cooked the same way as rice grains. 1 cup makes 3 cups after preparation. This 1 cup contains so many nutrients. It has potassium, sodium, zinc, folate, phosphorous, glycine, niacin, riboflavin, thiamin, lysine, the right amount of calories and fatty acids, calcium, magnesium, iron, good carbohydrates, protein, fiber, Vitamin B, and a lot more. Now I wont talk about all the good effects of all these nutrition from Quinoa, Ill leave that to be written in a book (wink). Ill just mention the main nutrients and the equivalent health benefits of Quinoa.
Lets start with the minerals found in this nutritious grain. We have Calcium and Potassium which keeps our bones and teeth strong and is needed by the body to ensure our muscles and nerves function properly. They are essential to the blood and are crucial to heart function. They ensure proper function of all our body organs they also aid in normal digestion. Iron, which is the main component of our red blood cells, fights exhaustion for us and makes our immune system stronger, plus maintains a beautiful skin tone, provides energy, promotes normal growth and development and mental alertness. Finally, we have Zinc. Talk about having a strong immunity against diseases, wound healing and better eyesight when you age. All these health benefits, you can have from these four Quinoa minerals.
Additional help in making the muscles and tissues in our body strong and functioning properly, as well helping us build a stronger immune system, comes from Protein in Quinoa; this is partly due to the balanced composition of its essential amino acids.
From muscle functioning, we go to muscle building and provision of energy. All these benefits come from Quinoas good Carbohydrates; and what better way to describe how good these carbs are, but to tell you that good carbohydrates lower your cravings for junk foods… Losing weight naturally and gaining firmness, while still having the energy, has never been this easier. And because Quinoa has carbohydrates enough to keep us healthy, it also keeps us beautiful because it contains Vitamin B. This antioxidant protects us from harmful free radicals and helps alleviate our stress about aging and being sick and all, because well no longer need to worry about cardiovascular diseases. Vitamin B in Quinoa is there to do this for us.
Finally, we have fiber! It doesnt matter if Quinoa is just a quasi-grain. It still is characteristic of such, with all the same benefits that we get from its fiber: from increasing the movement of your bowel, meaning it prevents gallstones, to being a best friend to many women today (especially our sisters who are pre-menopausal already) because it lowers their risk of developing cancer by a huge percent.
I know its a long list, so to summarize, dear vegetarians, muscle builders, weight losers, old and young, here are some of the health benefits of Quinoa:
> Strong muscles and bones

> Relief from stress and fatigue

> Mental alertness

> Immunity against diseases (cancer, including)

> Good eyesight even until we age

> Beautiful skin
